How we hire
Our process is built to find thoughtful people who care about getting it right. We keep it short and human, and we want it to be a two-way conversation. Here's what to expect.

We're looking for curious minds from a wide range of backgrounds, and we care about what you can do, not where you learned to do it. We hire researchers, engineers, and builders, and the line between them is thin here: engineers do real research, and researchers write production code, so the same names show up on the papers and the pull requests. If you've built on messy real-world data, shipped code that mattered, written something thoughtful, or contributed to open source, put that at the top of your resume.

Interviews are conversations over video, arranged around your timezone. For technical roles, expect to work through a real problem close to what we do, using your usual tools. You can look things up. We'll ask about your experience and what motivates you, and you'll have time to ask us about EI. For other roles, interviews are conversational and two-way. We want to understand how you think, and we want you to leave knowing whether this is the right place for you.
